Weber State University, located in Ogden, Utah, was founded in 1889. In addition to 200 undergraduate degree programs and eight graduate programs, Weber State offers online courses, distance learning, independent study, and evening classes for working adults. The main campus in Ogden stretches over more than 500 acres and, along with a campus in Layton, Utah, serves 21,000 students. Weber State students are involved in more than 100 student clubs and organizations, and a wide variety of intercollegiate and intramural sports.

Nursing Education at Weber State University

The School of Nursing at Weber State University was founded in 1953 and offers certificate, associate, bachelor’s and master’s programs in nursing. Programs include a Practical Nursing Certificate, an Associate of Science, an RN Completion, an RN to BSN, and an MSN degree. Two nursing-related continuing education courses are also available: Certified Nursing Assistant and a Nursing Re-entry Program.
