The University of Wisconsin Eau Claire was founded in 1916. Situated on 33 acres in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the University is home to 10,346 undergraduate students and 543 undergraduate students. Programs are offered through four colleges: Arts and Sciences, Business, Education and Human Services, Nursing and Health Sciences, as well as Graduate Studies. Additional programs include the Educational Opportunity Center, Nontraditional Student Services, online courses, study abroad programs, and National Student Exchange. The University of Wisconsin Eau Claire is home to more than 220 student organizations.
Nursing Education at University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire
The College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in nursing, as well as credit and non-credit continuing education programs. The BSN program allows students to practice in the Nursing Center for Health, offering health care service to the community. Students also gain hands-on experience in settings that include clinics, long term care facilities, hospitals, retirement communities, jails and detention centers, free clinics, surgery centers, schools, and churches. The MSN program is available in two clinical specializations: Adult Health Nursing and Family Health Nursing.
