Founded in 1891, the University of North Carolina - Greensboro serves 17,150 students from 49 states and more than 70 countries. More than 1,700 classes are offered each semester through the College of Arts and Sciences, and the schools of Business and Economics, Education, Health and Human Performance, Human Environmental Sciences, Music, and Nursing. Outside the classroom, students at the University of North Carolina - Greensboro are involved in 180 student organizations, 16 intercollegiate athletic teams, and a variety of intramural and club sports.
Nursing Education at University of North Carolina at Greensboro
The School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina - Greensboro offers undergraduate and graduate programs. Undergraduate programs include a traditional BSN program, a second degree option, and an RN to BSN track. On the graduate level, the MSN program is available in five concentrations: Nursing Administration, Nurse Anesthesia, Nursing Education, Adult/Gerontological Nurse Practitioner, and part-time Adult/Gerontological Nurse Practitioner. A dual degree MSN/MBA program is also offered, as well as a PhD. Students have the opportunity for clinical experiences in over 500 agencies throughout North Carolina.
