Established in 1847, the University of Iowa is situated on a 1,900-acre campus in Iowa City. With more than 30,500 students, the University is made up of 11 colleges, including Liberal Arts and Sciences, Business, Dentistry, Education, Engineering, Law, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health. Nursing Education at University of Iowa
The College of Nursing at the University of Iowa was established in 1898. Today, the College offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs that include BSN, RN to BSN, MSN, PhD, and DNP degree programs. Several certificate and dual degree programs are also available. Facilities at the College of Nursing include the 20,000 square foot Nursing Clinical Education Center, a joint effort between the Department of Nursing Services and Patient Care at UI Hospitals and Clinics and the College of Nursing.
