The University of Hawaii at Manoa was founded in 1907. Today, the University is the flagship of the University of Hawaii System, located just outside downtown Honolulu on the island of Oahu. The 320-acre campus is home to 11 schools and 9 colleges, offering a wide range of undergraduate and graduate degrees to its 20,000 students. University of Hawaii at Manoa students are involved in more than 200 student organizations on campus, and 19 intercollegiate sports teams.
Nursing Education at University of Hawaii at Manoa
The School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene at the University of Hawaii at Manoa offers several nursing degree programs through its Department of Nursing. BSN, MSN, and PhD programs are available, as well as post-master’s certificates. On the undergraduate level, students can choose from a traditional BSN program or an RN to BSN. MSN programs are offered in several concentrations, including Psychiatric/Mental Health nursing, Adult Health, Community/Public Health, Nursing Education, Nursing Administration, and Nursing Administration/MBA. Post master’s certificates are available in Nursing Education and Psychiatric/Mental Health.
