Founded in 1887, the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, located in rural Pembroke, is one of 16 schools that make up the University of North Carolina system. With a total enrollment of more than 6,300 students, and an average class size of 23, the University offers 45 bachelor’s degrees and 17 master’s programs. The Department of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke offers BSN and RN to BSN degree programs. These programs are designed to prepare students for lifelong learning, professional development, and service to others.
