Regis College, founded in 1927, is a Catholic college located on 132 acres in Weston, Massachusetts. Previously a womens’ school, Regis College admitted its first co-educational class in 2007. With 1,600 undergraduate and graduate students, the College offers more than 25 areas of study, as well as graduate degrees, certificate programs, and post-master’s certificates through its schools of Arts and Sciences and Nursing and Health Professions. Students at Regis College participate in study abroad programs in England, Italy, Japan, and Ireland. Outside the classroom, there are more than thirty clubs and organizations to choose from, including intercollegiate sports and and community service activities.
Nursing Education at Regis College
The School of Nursing and Health Professions at Regis College offers undergraduate and graduate programs in nursing. The School offers a four-year BSN, an AS in collaboration with Lawrence Memorial Hospital, and MSN programs in four specializations: Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Leadership/Business Management, Nursing Leadership/Health Product Regulation, and Acute/Critical Care Clinical Specialist. Regis College also offers three nursing certificates: a Certificate in Nursing Leadership, and post-master’s certificates in Nurse Practitioner and Nursing Education.
