Purdue University North Central, one of the four campuses of Purdue University, is located in Westville, Indiana. Founded in 1949, the University offers associate, bachelor, and master’s degrees through its colleges of Business, Engineering and Technology, Liberal Arts, and Science. Situated on 268 acres, the University moved from Michigan City to its current location in 1967. Students at Purdue University North Central are involved in a wide range of student clubs, activities, and sports.
Nursing Education at Purdue University North Central
Purdue University North Central offers an Associate of Science in Nursing degree, a four-year BSN, and an RN to BSN completion program. Facilities include the Nursing Resource Center where students learn basic nursing principles through academic classes and hands-on practice, and a Media Lab equipped with speciality software for nursing studies. The BSN nursing programs at Purdue University North Central prepare students for leadership roles in nursing and for graduate study. The Associate of Science in Nursing degree prepares students for entry level nursing positions in a range of health care settings.
