Piedmont College, founded in 1897, is made up of two campuses: Demorest, Georgia and Athens Georgia. Home to more than 2,000 students, the College is affiliated with the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches. Piedmont College offers 38 undergraduate degree programs, graduate degrees in education and business, and a doctoral program in education through its schools of Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, and Nursing. Outside the classroom, students are involved in a variety of clubs and organizations including the History Society, the Literary Society, the Art Club, and the Congregational Club, and a range of intercollegiate athletics teams.

Nursing Education at Piedmont College

The School of Nursing at Piedmont College offers BSN and RN to BSN programs. The first two years of the BSN program are made up of General Education courses, with nursing courses taken in the Junior an Senior years through a combination of classroom and clinical study. Students participate in clinical experiences in a variety of settings including medical/surgical, maternal/child, mental health/psychiatric, and community health. The RN to BSN program is designed for working students and can be completed in three and a half semesters.
