Nova Southeastern University was founded in 1964 and serves more than 27,000 students. With a main campus in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the University is also home to the East Campus, the Oceanographic Center Campus, and the North Miami Beach Campus. Nova Southeastern University offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs through its 16 schools and colleges. Facilities include the Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center, Florida’s largest library. Nursing Education at Nova Southeastern University

Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, offers several nursing programs: an entry level BSN, an RN to BSN, an MSN, and a PhD program. The BSN programs are designed to prepare nurses to be skilled providers, managers, and coordinators of care. Students pursuing an MSN degree can choose from three tracks: Education, Public/Community Health Nursing, or Health Systems Leadership. The PhD program, designed for qualified students with an MSN, prepares nurses to become nursing faculty members and emphasizes research and higher education leadership.
