North Carolina Central University is made up of the colleges of Behavioral and Social Sciences, Liberal Arts, and Science and Technology, and the schools of Business, Education, Law, and Library Science. Continuing education and distance programs are also available, as well as evening and weekend degree programs for students balancing work and family. Nursing Education at North Carolina Central University

The Department of Nursing at North Carolina Central University offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree accredited by the National League for Nursing and the North Carolina Board of Nursing. The first two years includes courses in the natural and social sciences, and the humanities, and the last two years are the nursing major. Graduates of the nursing program at North Carolina Central University are prepared to work as nurses in a variety of settings or to pursue graduate study.
