Murray State University, located in Murray, Kentucky, is home to over 10,000 students. Undergraduate and graduate programs are offered through the colleges of Business and Public Affairs; Education; Health Services and Human Services; Humanities and Fine Arts; and Science, Engineering and Technology. In addition to its traditional programs, Murray State University offers alternative baccalaureate degrees, online courses, and extended campus programs through the Center for Continuing Education and Academic Outreach.

Nursing Education at Murray State University

The College of Health Services and Human Services at Murray State University offers BSN, RN to BSN, and MSN degree programs. The RN to BSN program is designed for RN’s from both diploma and associate degree nursing programs. MSN students choose from three tracks: Clinical Nurse Specialist, Family Nurse Practitioner, and Nurse Anesthetist. Murray State University’s Department of Nursing also offers a Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education Programs.
