Founded in 1901, Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois, offers undergraduate programs in the Arts and Sciences, Business, Fine Arts, and Professional Studies, and graduate programs in Business Administration and Nursing. With a student enrollment of 2,300 undergraduate and 40 graduate students, the University sits on a 75-acre campus. Students at Millikin University participate in internships in the US and internationally, and study abroad programs. Outside the classroom, Millikin University is home to 19 varsity sports, intramurals, and more than 90 student organizations, including fraternities and sororities.

Nursing Education at Millikin University

The School of Nursing at Millikin University offers BSN, RN to BSN, and MSN programs, as well as a School Nurse program. The BSN program is a traditional 4-year degree, while the RN to BSN is an accelerated program with classes offered one night per week. The MSN program has three tracks: Clinical Nurse Leader, Nurse Educator, and Master's Entry into Nursing Practice. Nursing students at Millikin University participate in internships where they learn to collaborate with patients, other nurses, physicians, families, and additional members of the health care team. Study abroad opportunities are available to nursing students through Millikin’s Center for International Education.
