The Metropolitan State College of Denver is a commuter college located in Denver, Colorado. With more than 21,500 students, the College offers 53 majors and 82 minors through its three schools: Business, Professional Studies, and Letters, Arts and Sciences. Outside the classroom, students at the Metropolitan State College of Denver are involved in a wide variety of student clubs and organizations, volunteer activities, and club sports that include baseball, basketball, cross country, soccer, swimming, tennis, and volleyball. As one of the largest public four-year colleges in the US, Metropolitan State has a diverse student body and 63,000 alumni.

Nursing Education at Metropolitan State College of Denver

Metropolitan State College of Denver offers BSN degrees through its Department of Nursing. Students can choose from an RN to BSN completion program and an accelerated nursing option designed for students with a bachelor’s degree in another field who want to enter the nursing profession. The Metro State Nurses’ Club provides support for nursing students at Metropolitan State College of Denver and offers activities, volunteer opportunities, and workshops. Students graduating from the BSN program work in a variety of health care settings including Community Health, Public Health, Management, Parish Nursing, and Pediatrics.
