Founded in 1837, Marshall University, is located in Huntington, West Virginia. Offering 68 undergraduate and 52 graduate programs, Marshall University is home to more than 14,000 students, including 400 international students from 50 countries. Programs are administered through the colleges of Business, Education and Human Service, Fine Arts, IT and Engineering, Liberal Arts, Health Professions, and Science, as well as the Graduate College. The School of Extended Education offers programs for adult and non-traditional students at a number of regional centers in West Virginia and through its online program.
Nursing Education at Marshall University
The College of Health Professions at Marshall University offers both undergraduate and graduate programs in nursing. The BSN program is available on the Huntington campus and in an off-campus location in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. An accelerated BSN program is offered in Point Pleasant and at the Marshall University Graduate College in South Charleston, West Virginia. The MSN program is offered in three specializations: Family Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Education, and Nursing Administration. Marshall University also offers an Associate of Science in Nursing degree in cooperation with the St. Mary’s School of Nursing.
