The Kettering College of Medical Arts, founded in 1967, is located in Kettering, Ohio. Offering certificate programs, two-year Associate of Science degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Health Professions, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, the College is affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Situated on 35-acres of land, Kettering College of Medical Arts is home to the Kettering Memorial Hospital, the clinical component of the Kettering Medical Center. With an enrollment of 800 students, Kettering College of Medical Arts has a small campus made up of two interconnected buildings. Outside the classroom, students have access to a range of activities, sports, outreach opportunities, and religious activities.
Nursing Education at Kettering College of Medical Arts
The Kettering College of Medical Arts offers several nursing degree programs: Associate of Science in Nursing, Advanced Placement for LPN’s, Advanced Placement for Military Med Techs, and a Bachelor’s Completion in Nursing. Programs are offered with flexibility in mind, and classes are available on campus and online. Nursing students at the Kettering College of Medical Arts gain clinical experience at the Kettering Memorial Hospital, or at clinical locations closer to home. Opportunities are available for international study through Nursing Trips abroad.
