Gardner-Webb University, located on 200 acres in Boiling Springs, North Carolina, was founded in 1905. With an enrollment of 4,000 students, Gardner-Webb offers undergraduate and graduate degrees, as well as a program called GOAL - Greater Opportunities for Adult Learners. Students at Gardner-Webb University, who come from 30 states and 30 countries, can choose from thirteen academic departments offering 45 major fields of study. Outside class, Garner-Webb University students participate in a variety of student activities, clubs, organizations, international programs, athletics and volunteer activities.

Nursing Education at Gardner-Webb University

Gardner-Webb University’s Nursing Department, established in 1965, offers ADN, RN to BSN, and MSN degrees. With 300 students and 14 full-time faculty members, the BSN program can be completed in two years at the main Boiling Springs campus, in addition to Statesville, Charlotte, and Winston Salem. All nursing courses at Gardner-Webb University are available on campus and in a distance education format. Resources for nursing students at Gardner-Webb University include over 180 clinical sites for gaining real-world experience, and two on-campus experiential learning laboratories.
