Framingham State College, is located in Framingham, Massachusetts, 20 miles west of Boston. Founded in 1839, Framingham State offers 25 undergraduate and 24 graduate degree programs. With a 73-acre, traditional New England Campus, the College serves over 6,000 students. In addition to its on-campus programs, Framingham State provides students with off-campus study opportunities through internships, Quebec Exchange, study abroad, and the Massachusetts Bay Marine Studies Consortium. Academic Centers include the Center for Global Education, the Center for Social Research, and the Stalker Center for Food and Nutrition.

Nursing Education at Framingham State College

The Nursing Department at Framingham State University offers BSN, MSN, and graduate certificate programs. With a focus on prevention, the nursing department prepares undergraduate students to function as nurses in a variety of health care settings.With a foundation in the humanities and the natural and social sciences, the BSN program also prepares students for further graduate study. The MSN program is available in two concentrations: Nursing Education and Nursing Leadership. MSN courses are offered online and on-campus, and MSN students can earn their degree on a part-time basis within two years.
