The College of Mount Saint Vincent is located on a 70-acre campus in Riverdale, New York, 12 miles from midtown Manhattan. With an enrollment of 1,600 undergraduate and graduate students, the College of Mount Saint Vincent, known as the "Mount," offers 22 undergraduate majors and three graduate programs. Being next door to Manhattan means that students benefit from all that the city has to offer through internships and other real-world experiences. The College was founded in 1847, and remains rooted in the Catholic tradition.

Nursing Education at College of Mount Saint Vincent

The Department of Nursing at the College of Mount Saint Vincent offers a four-year BSN program and a two-year undergraduate program for transfer and second-degree students, as well as an MSN program. In additon to the programs offered on its main campus, Mount Saint Vincent offers a BSN program in Manhattan at its New York City site. Gradutes of the nursing program at the College of Mount Saint Vincent can expect to pursue careers in a wide variety of health care settings, including hospitals and primary care clinics.
