California State University-Stanislaus serves a student body of 8,400 and offers 41undergraduate degrees, 24 master’s programs, a doctor of education program, five graduate certificate programs, and a range of pre-professional program options. Students can choose from over 93 clubs and organizations that include the Hunger Network, the League of United Latin American Citizens, and the Bilingual Education Cross Cultural Association. Founded in 1957, the University moved to its permanent campus in 1965 and was renamed as California State University-Stanislaus in 1985. The University is located in the town of Turlock, in California’s Central Valley.

Nursing Education at California State University - Stanislaus

The Nursing Department at California State University-Stanislaus offers BSN and MSN degrees. The BSN program is available in the pre-licensure track, the RN to BSN track, and the LVN to BSN option. The MSN is available with concentrations in Nursing Education and Gerontology. The nursing programs prepare students for a careers in public health, nurse management, acute care, armed services health care, home health care, mental health, or non-profit agency work.
