Nursing Degrees Offered: Associate Degree Nursing, LPN to ADN, RN to BSN
Founded in 1888, Brigham Young University-Idaho has a student body of almost 12,000. Located in Rexburg, and sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Brigham Young University-Idaho educates students with an emphasis on the Church. BYU-Idaho offers students a wide range of academic programs through its six colleges: Agriculture & Life Sciences, Business & Communication, Education & Human Development, Language & Letters, Performing & Visual Arts, and Physical Sciences & Engineering. An extensive intership program provides students with additional real-world learning experiences.
Nursing Education at Brigham Young University Idaho
The Nursing Department at Brigham Young University-Idaho offers two degree programs: an ASN and an RN to BSN. Founded in 1957, the Nursing Department offers courses in an online or on-campus format to allow working RN’s to complete the program of study. The Nursing Department at BYU-Idaho also offers Skills for Family Nursing classes to non-nursing majors to help increase knowldege of basic family health issues.
