Bethel University in Arden Mills, Minnesota, dates back to 1871 when it began as a seminary school for Swedish immigrants. Offering both undergraduate and graduate degrees, the University houses four schools: the College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Adult & Professional Studies, the Graduate School, and the Seminary. The College of Adult & Professional Studies and the Graduate School offer flexible courses in a number of locations in the Twin Cities, and the Seminary school has locations in Massachusettes, California, Philadelphia, New York, and Washington, DC. With an enrollment of 6,338, Bethel University offers students the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports and arts-related activities. Bethel students come from 48 states and 29 countries.

Nursing Education at Bethel University

The Department of Nursing at Bethel University offers a four-year BSN, an RN to BSN, and MSN programs and prepares students to practice nursing in all types of health care facilities. The RN to BSN program offers an accelerated program with evening classes, and the MSN program prepares students for leadership roles in nursing and nursing education. Christian values are an important component of the University’s nursing education.
