In this section of the website, you’ll find all the state Board of Nursing-approved Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) programs we could find. This section is dedicated to four year entry level BSN programs (also called "prelicensure BSN programs," "basic BSN programs," "traditional BSN programs," or "generic BSN programs").
If you’re already an RN, you’re probably looking for our directory of RN to BSN programs instead. If you already have a Bachelors degree in another subject, you should check out our listing of Accelerated Second Degree BSN programs. If you’re interested in other healthcare programs, we have a sister website focused on Medical Assisting Programs.
The easiest way to search our directory of BSN programs is to use the links below to check out the full list of Bachelors in Nursing programs in the state where you live.
You should also check out the website of that state’s Board of Nursing, which will give you important information on nursing in that state (licensure requirements, etc.).
What comes next after a Bachelors in Nursing?
At the end of your program you will be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN exam, which is the national licensing exam for Registered Nurses, and to look for employment as a nurse. Many employers are now requiring the Bachelors degree from new hires, despite the fact that you can take the NCLEX exam with an Associate degree or diploma.
